Free EICR Seminars: First Amendment To The Fixed Wiring Regulations

As previously revealed, the changes to the
guidelines for Fixed Installation Testing are due to take effect as of January 1st
2012. Here at Elecheck, in an attempt to ensure our clients are fully aware and understand the changes, we have
been providing a series of Free Seminars.
The seminars were made available to the Social Housing sector, with members of our
engineering and sales team available to visit the client’s offices to undertake
the presentations. Information Packs that contained the slides used along with
additional details, were prepared as hand-outs to accompany the seminars.
The sessions were open to all staff concerned with the health and safety
testing within each organisation to make sure that everyone involved is ready
to implement the amendments. Audiences of up to 20 attended the seminars with
employees from Electrical Engineering and Surveying to Customer and Sales
management making the most of the visit.
Eight seminars were performed in just one month with our staff travelling to
venues throughout the UK from Wales to Manchester and London. Client feedback
has been great with praise for the “valuable information” included in the “very
informative” seminars which we are confident helped those that attended in their
preparation for the amendments.
