Carbon Monoxide Detection
Carbon monoxide is a poisonous gas with no taste, no colour and no smell and is often referred to as the silent killer. It is produced by the incomplete combustion of carbon based fuels such as gas, oil and solid fuels including wood.
BS EN 50292:2002 states that ideally, you should install a CO alarm in every room or area where there is a fuel burning appliance.
