What is Smoke Detection?
Virtually all residential premises where people are sleeping require an automatic fire detection and warning system of some form. This is governed by the Housing Act 2004 (England & Wales) and Building Regulations.
Elecheck supply, install and maintain smoke detectors for a number of social housing and local authority clients. All smoke detection systems are fitted in accordance with the grade and category specified and the recommendations within BS 5839-6.
What we’ll do
- Supply and install the appropriate smoke detection system for its premises
- Test all batteries, replacing where necessary
- Clean out all detectors to ensure maximum sensitivity
- Recommend any replacements or new installations required
